The Police
We have helped design, implement and evaluate police mobile computing systems within the UK. This has involved:
- Preparing national guidelines for the Home Office for the development and implementation of in-car mobile data systems.
- Scoping the levels of development of mobile systems for both the Home Office and local forces.
- Identifying, defining and piloting applications for handheld devices.
We have also been involved in conducting public usability testing of police websites and various other projects that have focused on the needs of the frontline staff.
