Alex Tarling

Alex Tarling is an experienced User-Centred Designer and Information Architect, having been involved with the design of products for web, intranet, mobile, handheld and desktop platforms over a 15 year period.

Alex specialises in User Research, skilled in a range of methods including usability testing, expert evaluation, requirements gathering, ethnographic techniques and eye tracking. Particular interests and portfolio include digital health, e-commerce, gaming, e-learning and knowledge management domains. Alex holds an MSc in Human Centred Computer Systems, and also works as a research fellow and associate tutor at the University of Sussex. Alex has a technical background, working for a number of years on the development of web enabled applications and server products.
