Jool Heller-Dixon

Jool has over 25 years experience in groupwork, team development, and organisational behaviour. She has worked in Education, Health Education, Youth & Community, Probation and Social Services as a field worker and trainer.

Jool is a graduate of the University of Sussex with BA in Cognitive Psychology and 4 years post-graduate training and research experience in human cognition. She held a research post in the School of Cognitive and Computing Science at the University of Sussex and was involved in research on high-level vision, information processing, safety and problem solving. Jool has undertaken applied psychology research on the use of equipment, information and technology for the Home Office, Local Authorities and Industry. She has managed reseach projects for Housing and Social Service Departments investigating system design, organisational culture and the impact of technology on team culture.
