Paul Hampton
Paul is an enthusiastic exponent of the importance of making IT systems accessible and usable. He is experienced in evaluating the usability of a broad range of mobile devices and applications, and assessing their suitability for supporting staff in a variety of work settings. He has conducted research on the design, testing and development of mobile systems for UK Police Forces, NHS, Local Authorities, Utilities Companies, Hardware & Software Companies and System Developers.
Paul holds an MSc from the University of Sussex in Human-Centred Computer Systems. After qualifying he held a research post at Sussex University in the School of Cognitive and Computing Science. Prior to specialising in human centred technologies Paul worked on land and sea-based engineering projects for several years. He holds a BA in Electrical and Information Science from Cambridge University.
