Supervisor workshops

Picture of people in a group building a paper towerUniversal buy-in from supervisors provides an excellent route to mobile project success, but is often difficult to achieve in practice. We run workshops that focus on actively engaging your supervisors in identifying the benefits that new technology can deliver and motivating them to drive the project forward.

How you will benefit

Our workshops are designed to encourage discussion between supervisors and to begin to get supervisors to take ownership of the change process. We also engage in skills transfer with your project staff to enable them to provide supervisors with the most appropriate on-going support and information. The benefits being that:

  • Supervisors are better informed about how the new technology will change work practices for their staff
  • Supervisors show an interest and understand the challenges
  • Supervisors identify a role they can play in the project and begin to identify new work processes
  • The project fully utilises the expertise and experience of supervisors

What we do

Picture of a mobile device and paper formsWe utilise our knowledge and experience of using group work techniques to develop bespoke supervisor workshops to suit your organisational requirements. In addition to this service we run stakeholder seminars to give update presentations and help you run group events to promote your new system to supervisors and senior stakeholders.

Things that may be on your mind about supervisor engagement

1. The new system provides no direct benefits for supervisors so getting them involved will be difficult

2. Some supervisors will never support the project

3. Getting a group of supervisors together would be logistically difficult
